Tavares
Hailing from New Bedford, MA, the clean-cut brothers with their crisp vocals and dance steps were favorites on late night TV and on American Bandstand. Their popularity skyrocketed when they sang "More Than a Woman" which the Bee Gees wrote specifically for Tavares, and it was issued as a single from the multi-platinum Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

Tavares may be best known for up-tempo hits as the million-selling single "Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel", "It Only Takes a Minute (Girl)", and "Whodunit". A favorite of dj's everywhere, Tavares also wrote "She's Gone" which Hall & Oates performed and scored a #7 pop hit in 1976.
