THE MY GENERATION TOUR
The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Hollies Greatest Hits starring Terry Sylvester & Gary Lewis & The Playboys

Any venue coveting Rock & Roll loving audiences who grew up in the 60s and 70s will do well to book the “MY GENERATION TOUR” – featuring 3 iconic bands whose mind-blowing hit songs ruled the charts and won everyone’s hearts during this amazing era for rock and pop music.  This good-time spectacular has all three acts performing with their own full bands spanning the golden singles-era of pop music, from 1965 to 1975.  With nearly 30 hits exploding throughout this two hour program, MY GENERATION TOUR  is the baby-boomer bucket list must-see event of the year, a hip trip back to the era that defined the Boomers’ generation.

The tour headliner is The Lovin’ Spoonful.  Known as the American Beatles, their hits included “Do You Believe in Magic,” “Daydream,” “Younger Girl,” “Hot Town, Summer in the City,” “Rain on the Roof,” “You Didn’t Have to Be So Nice,” and so many more.  Today’s supergroup of stellar musicians and vocalists faithfully celebrate the rich, good-time catalog of songs that made The Lovin’ Spoonful one of the world’s most beloved groups and propelled them into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Original member and co-founder of The Lovin’ Spoonful, Steve Boone, will appear on select dates.

The Hollies, another great Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band from the 60s and 70s who were known for their distinctive vocal harmony style, had 21 Billboard Hot 100 Hits including “Bus Stop”, “He Ain’t Heavy (He’s My Brother)”, “Long Cool Woman (in a Black Dress)”, “Carrie Anne”, “The Air That I Breathe” and “Just One Look”.   Terry Sylvester who famously replaced Graham Nash after Nash left The Hollies performs The Hollies Greatest Hits.

Gary Lewis & the Playboys are the pop and rock group fronted by musician Gary Lewis, son of comedian Jerry Lewis.  They, too, had a string of memorable hit singles in the 60s, including “This Diamond Ring”, “Sure Gonna Miss Her”, “Everybody Loves a Clown”, and “Count Me In”.

Three great groups.   One incredible evening.    Filled with hit songs, sing-alongs, and amazing memories of some of the best music that “My Generation” ever heard.   Best of all, the “MY GENERATION TOUR” is generally available for booking all year round -- not just during the summer months; and, they will fly in and out of markets, affording venues many more options to provide superb programming to the generation that loves this music and can’t wait to call the box office to buy tickets!
